a scottish wedding it was! the macmillan's were a wonderful couple to shoot. the cool thing about andrea and collin...it was only after they had chosen me to be their photographer that we figured out we went to church together. small world. i had a great time and it is always lovely to learn new traditions. A birthday party for Mr. Louis. He turned 80. His daughter Kirsten threw him the best birthday party ever. The party included a video of Mr. Louis sky diving (something he did for turning 80). Yep, he is cool like that. He seemed like a funny guy with lots of jokes. I think he would be fun to sit down and talk with. He gave a pretty impressive speech too. Happy Birthday, Mr. Louis.

My mom, dad, and I have been in Sandestin for the past week. We had a wonderful time. While we were there we chilled by the pool, had good food in Baytowne, shopped a little, and of course - took beach pictures! daniel and elisabeth are my small group leaders. they are pretty cool. daniel's family came to visit from louisiana so we had to take pictures. the owen family undoubtedly made this shoot one of the funniest ever. loved it. i know i speak for the fusion small group when i say thank you daniel and elisabeth for everything you do and for the support you give all of us every thursday night. i love you guys!

okay...let me just say - when you get a bunch of kids together to take photos there is always bound to be one that just does not want to smile at the same time everyone else does. i am calling this photo of the year because it is pretty much priceless. every kid is happy but little violet was screaming up a storm. in every other photo she is smiley but she was ready for the shoot to be over. love it and i love these kids! much love to the cates and jones kiddos.

A friend's tea party. I wasn't sure how these would turn out because the room was overwhelmed with light! Fortunately, I was able to use it to my advantage and I am very pleased with what came out. I think these photos have a nice elegant touch to them...like every tea party should be.
